Soggade director sets a new record

Kalyan Krishna, the director of Soggade Chinni Nayana, has set a new record in overseas market for himself.  For a debutante, the overseas collections of his film amounting to $661,000 is unprecedented.

In fact, this is the highest for a debutante, so far.  The second highest record is held by Koratala Shiva.  Mirchi earned a huge $631,000 in overseas market.

This is a record that Kalyan will savour for long.  Even in the domestic market, the film has added theatres in the second week, much as Nagarjuna had predicted.
