Kamal’s next venture

After an all-round performance in Virumaandi, Kamal Haasan has chosen to remain silent on his next project. Meanwhile, the question of what would the actor’s forthcoming venture would be uppermost on the minds of his fans.

Though the actor has reportedly been saying that the next film would be a home production and he would be directing it, rumours are doing the rounds that Kamal Haasan is all set to play the lead role in a movie to be directed by Gowtham.

The young director, who made a remarkable entry into filmdom with two hits — Minnale followed by the action-packed Kaakha Kaakha which skyrocketed actor Surya to stardom, apart from box-office success, is said to have managed to rope in Kamal Haasan.

 Harris Jeyaraj would be composing the music for the movie. Kaakha Kaakha, the story of a honest police officer played by actor Surya came in for praise and did well at the box-office. Gowtham, who wielded the megaphone was also singled out for praise. He was assigned to direct the film in Telugu and Hindi too.
