Dhanush’s director turns hero

Remember Subramanya Siva, the director of films such as ‘Thiruda Thirudi’, ‘Yogi’ and ‘Seedan’. He will don the greasepaint and play the lead role in a film to be helmed by himself. The project will be based on a popular novel by Jeyamohan.

Confirming this, Subramanya Siva, who also directed ‘Pori’ with Jiiva, says, “My next will be an action film. I will play the protagonist in it. The shooting schedule will start from the second week of April.”

Since the story is inspired by Jeyamohan’s ‘Ulogam’, the ace writer himself will pen the dialogues. Siva is currently finalizing the members of the cast and crew and an official announcement on the film’s title will be made soon.

“The story demanded a person like me to play the lead role. Though it is an action entertainer, there will be no logical lapses in it. The shooting will be completed as soon as possible and the film will hit the screens soon,” Siva adds.
