Hollywood's summer season usually begins in May, but this year, fate had other plans as the Coronavirus pandemic caused a huge change which lead to the postponement of some of the major releases including F9 (Fast and Furious 9), Wonder Woman 1984, In the Heights, Ghostbusters: Afterlife and Soul.
However even as major Hollywood studios are changing their release dates constantly due to the pandemic, one movie that remains strong from the beginning happens to be Christopher Nolan's Tenet. This thriller stars John David Washington and Robert Pattinson and is said to be about a time traveler attempting to stop World War III.
It was announced in early 2019, by Warner Bros. that Tenet will release on July 17, 2020 and Nolan and Warner Bros. are still confident that theatres will be active by mid-July. Already many theatres have reopened in Texas. Tenet's release date has given a wake-up call for theatres globally and many theatres worldwide are getting ready to screen Tenet.
