Chiyaan Vikram after a long gap has comeback with a bang in Karthik Subbaraj's 'Mahaan' as far as his performance is concerned.  The film costarring his son Dhruv Vikram is streaming on Amazon Prime Video with both critics and fans raving about Vikram's intensity, style and swag in depicting a common man turning baddie.

Vikram has currently completed Mani Ratnam's epic film 'Ponniyin Selvan' and the newage cyber thriller 'Cobra' which will release one after the other within this year.  He will soon begin work on his next 'Chiyaan 61' directed by Pa. Ranjith.   There is also talk about him starring in Kamal Haasan's new movie along with Vijay Sethupathi.

Now the hot buzz in Tollywood is that ace director Trivikram Srinivas has approached Vikram to play a powerful role opposite Mahesh Babu in 'SSMB28' which is set to go on floors soon.  The official spokesperson for Vikram has clarified that the news is false and that the National Award winner is not part of the Telugu biggie.
