Chiranjeevi sends an spiritual gift to ‘Naatu Naatu’ talent

Meanwhile, lyricist Chandrabose today shared a pic of the gift the ‘GodFather’ actor had sent him. It is an idol of Sahitya Ganapathi, something that has a spiritual and sentimental value to those in the field of literature and writing. Recently, at a ‘Waltair Veerayya’ event, the acclaimed lyricist described the ‘Bholaa Shankar’ actor as a Nataraja. 

The gift by Chiru is in the general appreciation of his lyrical achievements over a career spanning decades. Recently, his song ‘Naatu Naatu’ got nominated for the Oscar Best Original Song after winning a Golden Globe Award. Its lyrics are by Chandrabose. As far as Chiru is concerned, the song is also important because it features his son, Ram Charan. 

Chandrabose recently wrote the title song for Chiru’s Sankranthi release. Its lyrics were criticized by celebrated novelist Yandamuri Veerendranath. Later, Chandrabose came out in the open and defended its deliberately oxymoronic lines.
