Back in 2004, an actress named Rimi Sen was seen opposite Megastar Chiranjeevi in 'Andarivaadu'. After that movie flopped, she started doing only Hindi movies.

The news is that the 41-year-old actress has allegedly been defrauded of Rs 4.14 Cr. As per national media reports, Rimi claimed in a police complaint that a Mumbai-based businessman named Ronak Jatin Vyas took crores of rupees from her by promising that she would get returns to the tune of 40%. Not only did she not get higher returns but even the principal amount failed to be realized.

The allegedly fraudulent mission started in 2019. Rimi and Ronak met each other at a high-end gym in Mumbai. They got along well and Ronak allegedly made the "victim" believe that he is an honest businessman. He even gave her a cheque to the tune of Rs 3.25 Cr or so. When she tried to encash the same recently, she came to know that the bank account of the businessman was frozen.
