Megastar Chiranjeevi's birthday was a family event - involving the larger family of Mega fans, the famous "blood brothers". If Chiranjeevi was absent, the same was compensated by the energetic presence of Charan, Bunny, Sai Dharam Tej, Varun Tej, and Sirish. Allu Aravind, VV Vinayak and Surendar Reddy were present.

Allu Sirish said, "I am wishing Chiranjeevi garu a very happy birthday as a fan and a 'menalludu'".

Varun Tej said, "Thanks so much for celebrating Pedananna's birthday so grandly every year. Your love for Chiranjeevi garu will be there always. I am a big fan of Pedananna. When he said he will quit films and join politics, I shut the doors and cried. For many days, I was depressed. I asked him as to when he is going to act in a film again. He said that he will do some day. We have been waiting for that for 9 full years. The Boss is back, finally". Varun reproduced a punch line from 'Indra' to drive home the point that Chiranjeevi's verve and on-screen guts are intact.

Sai Dharam Tej said, "This is not a birthday event. This is a Mega festival. We always wait for this day every year. Chiranjeevi garu's birthday is not about celebrating at home. Real celebration is when it's celebrated amidst you fans. Watching the first look made me wonder if there has been a gap of 9 years at all". Rakul Preet Singh said, "This is the first time that I am participating in Megastar's birthday celebration. I have never seen so much of love for a star".

Raashi Khanna said, "I am a bit nervous. I don't have words, honestly. He is a legend. I too am a big fan of Chiranjeevi garu like you. I am happy to see your love for him. It's an amazing experience to see Mega fans' energy".

It was Tirupathi Prasad garu who had suggested to me that I watch 'Thani Oruvan', during the making of 'Bruce Lee'. I had been wanting to work with Surendar Reddy garu since I watched 'Kick' and 'Race Gurram'".
