'Cheekati Rajyam' to have a sequel

A sequel to Universal hero Kamal Haasan`s upcoming film Cheekati Rajyam is in the offing. Reports have arrived that Kamal and director Rajesh M Selva already have the idea for the sequel and initiated the talks. The duo is planning to make a sequel to this action-thriller after considerable amount of time. The rolling titles at the end of Cheekati Rajyam, will hint of a possible sequel to the film which is inspired from French film Sleepless Nights. Kamal is toying with the idea of making the sequel even bigger with new star cast.
The trailer of Cheekati Rajyam released a month ago has scaled the hype on the film. Trisha and Madhu Shalini are playing the leading ladies in this film which has music by M Ghibran. Kamal will be seen as a cop from narcotic bureau and Prakash Raj is playing a drug dealer, Vittal Rao. The Telugu version of the film will hit the screens on November 20, while the Tamil version is slotted for November 12 release itself. Ramajogayya Sastry has penned the lyrics for the only song and also essayed a crucial cameo in the film.
