Raghava Lawrence in 'Chandramukhi 2' was initially scheduled to release on Vinayagar Chathurthi but later moved to September 28 owing to prolonged VFX works. The team unleashed a new trailer for the movie in the Hyderabad promotional event today. The 2-minute trailer opens with a brief flashback of the first part and sets the premise for the sequel.
The new trailer is more smartly cut than the earlier one. It is right to the point that the sequel chronicles the arrival of real Chandramukhi and Vettaiyan Raja, which makes it unique from the first part. Raghava Lawrence excels in humour, romance and action in the present portions while we see a complete contrast version of him as the menacing Vettaiyan Raja. Meanwhile, Kanagana Ranaut seems to be the heart of Chandramukhi 2.
A sneak peek of the ultimate faceoff between Vettaiyan Raja and Chandramukhi featured at the end of the trailer and it is sure to increase the hype for the movie. MM Keeravani's musical score sounds a bit underwhelming in this trailer while RD Rajasekar's visuals and Anthony's cuts were impressive. The new trailer is now going viral on social media.
Chandramukhi 2 stars an ensemble cast comprising Raghava Lawrence, Kangana Ranaut, Vadivelu, Radhika Sarathkumar, Lakshmi Menon, Mahima Nambiar, Rao Ramesh, Ravi Maria, Srushti Dange and many others. Directed by P Vasu and produced by Lyca Productions, the film is all set to hit the screens on September 28 in Tamil and Telugu.
