Challenging Capitalism Through Cinema: A Look at ?Central?

The movie titled ‘Central’ is being produced by Vyappiyan Devaraj, Sadakumara Guru, and Tamil Sivalingam under the banner of Sriranganathar Movie Makers. This film marks the directorial debut of Bharathi Sivalingam.

The lead role is played by ‘Kaaka Muttai’ fame Vignesh, with Soneshwari as the female lead. The film also features Perarasu in a key role, along with Sitha Darshan, Aarubala, Methagu Raja, Anbu Rani, Kavinihlavan, and Om Ganesh in supporting roles.

Vinoth Gandhi has handled cinematography, and the music is composed by Ila.

Speaking about the film, director Bharathi Sivalingam said, “This movie stands against capitalism. It tells the emotional journey of a young man who comes to work in Chennai Central due to family circumstances in his village. The film explores the hardships he undergoes in a capitalist system and how he overcomes them.”
