Buzz! Bobby to cast Chiranjeevi in THIS role

Director Bobby aka KS Ravindra is wielding the megaphone for Chiranjeevi’s 154th movie. ‘Waltair Veerayya’ is its tentative title.

The buzz is that the Megastar is reportedly playing an undercover cop in the movie. Unlike India-based cop stories, this time, the ‘Acharya’ star is doing an actioner that is set in a different country. Sri Lanka is said to be the backdrop against which the story unfolds. 

The premise sounds exciting, while Chiru’s cop character is definitely going to be lapped up by the audience. In ‘Acharya’, the legendary actor is a vigilante and a Naxal leader. In ‘Godfather’, Chiru has a multi-shade role. In ‘Bholaa Shankar’, he has a mass-y character.

Producers Y Ravi Shankar and Naveen Yerneni are bankrolling the Bobby directorial. When the film was announced on August 22, a poster with words ‘Poonakalu Loading’ was released Co-produced by GK Mohan, the film is touted to have a powerful script.
