Following the release of 'Viswasam', it was reported that its director Siva will be directing Surya in his next film. It was also officially announced on April, 2019 by production company Studio Green.

The shooting of this yet to be named film was supposed to go on floor after the completion of Suriya's 'Soorari Potru'. But Siva went on to direct Superstar Rajinikanth's 'Annathe'. Announcements of this film came earlier in October 2019. As per reports major portions of this Rajinikanth's biggie is shot and will be completed soon.

Now the recent buzz is that the Siva- Suriya combo which was announced way back is revived and the shooting is expected to go on floor any time soon. Adding to this, another interesting news is that SonyLiv is about to join the production along with Studio Green.

Suriya is now busy with his 40th film directed by Pandiraj and will next be working with Vetrimaaran in the film 'Vaadivasal'. He is expected to work with Siva after the completion of these films, yet we have to wait for the official announcements.
