Tamil hero Suriya is currently busy working on a period drama titled, Kanguva. Being directed by Shivs, the film is likely to wrap up the entire shooting formalities by November end.

As the makers have announced the film is will ready for a theatrical release during first half of 2024. Disha Patani is the female lead in the movie. Meanwhile, the latest reports from Tamil media suggest that Bollywood actor Bobby Deol is on board for the antagonist role in this semi-period drama. He is likely to join the unit from the next schedule in Bangkok.

The film's like look teaser which is out a couple of days back has been receiving tremendous response from moviegoers. Kanguva is one of the biggest releases coming up from Tamil cinema and will hit the screens in early 2024.

Devi Sri Prasad is the music composer for this prestigious project which is being bankrolled by Studio Green Productions banner. UV Creations will be releasing the movie in Telugu language.
