Celebrities have been constant victims of cyberbullying, especially on Twitter, where anonymous users do not think twice before posting abusive comments mentioning them. Even though some of them try their best to ignore the negative comments, the constant harassment is bound to take a toll on their mental health.
In the wake of K-pop singer Sulli's death, the 25-year-old who committed suicide due to relentless online abuse, people have been sharing videos and messages against cyberbullying. Vanitha, one of the contestants of the recently concluded Bigg Boss Tamil 3, shared one such video posted by a user, where a singer had composed and sung a song with only the hate comments (Tamil) she received for her videos.
Vanitha quoted the tweet, stating, "Kudos. A slipper shot to all the haters and trollers and pcychotic saddists.if you don't like someone don't waste your precious time tweeting to them.get a life .a perfect example of how one must not give a damn to these useless people."
