The show that has consistently won large audience support and had the TRP ratings soaring in recent times is none other than 'Bigg Boss Tamil' that has successfully completed four seasons. The USP of the show of course is Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan hosting it which in fact surprised many in the first season.

The thespian has made the 'Bigg Boss' arena his own and many fans find it difficult to imaging someone else in his shoes. Actually, if the Tamil Nadu General elections result was different then Kamal may have been replaced and Simbu was said to the frontrunner for hosting the fifth season.

Now however it's back to Kamal and sources have revealed that he has signed a fresh agreement for 'Bigg Boss 5' and has taken a salary hike as well. According to the sources the MNM leader was getting rupees 3 Crores for his weekly appearances on the show apart from a hefty retainer amount. He used to shoot for one day which will be telecasted for two days.

Now it is said that Kamal will take home a cool rupees fifty lakhs extra per week which means that his total 'Bigg Boss 5' salary will touch the magical 50 Crores mark. It is further reported that the show like last year will begin in October after the COVID 19 second wave subsides.

Talks are already underway for the contestants of 'Bigg Boss 5' but the exact details is expected only in the coming weeks.
