High Court's order on stopping 'Bigg Boss 3' and arresting organizers

Kethireddy Jagadishwar Reddy a film producer filed a PIL petition in the High Court in Hyderabad against Bigg Boss-3. As per him, the court was requested to order for the censoring of the reality show the way it is done for movies. The petitioner also urged the court to impose other restrictions including the dress code of the contestants. A co-ordination team from the show organizers on Tuesday filed a quash petition in the same court.

Following the quash petition, the HC has on Wednesday directed the police not to make any arrests until proper inquiry reports are in place. The police are expected to prepare the reports in one week. There are also a couple of complaints in two police stations in Hyderabad against the popular reality show. The lawyer of the produers of the 'Bigg Boss 3' show requested the court to cancel these complaints.

'Bigg Boss 3' Telugu hosted by Akkineni Nagarjuna, is set to be aired from July 21st but the show is already creating offscreen controversy as journalist Swetha Reddy and actress Gayatri Gupta leveled sexual harassment allegations against the organizers as well.
