Bhumika Chawla shot to fame in a big way with ‘Kushi’, which hit the screens in Summer 2001. The film was a blockbuster. Her performance was stepped up by Savita’s impeccable dubbing. Since then, the ‘Missamma’ actress and Savita have been good friends.
On Thursday, the former actress shared a video clip in which she is seen dancing for ‘Ammaye sannaga’ with her friend with abandon. At the beginning of the video clip, she recreates the first shot from the song. “After 21 years of Kushi. My dubbing artist Savita and now my friend— met in Chennai — and tried to dance,” Bhumika wrote on Twitter.
Tagging Pawan Kalyan, Bhumika said that she went back in time. “It’s been a memorable journey learning from then till now,” the ‘Savyasachi’ actress, who was last seen in ‘Idhe Maa Katha’ (2021), wrote.
‘Kushi’, directed by SJ Suryah, had music by Mani Sharma. The song ‘Ammaye sannaga’ made Bhumika all the more popular.
