The 'Ko' girl Karthika Nair was given the best role in her career by director S.P.Jananathan as Kuyili a rebel and the tall and athletic Karthika fits the role to a 'T' and excels especially in the scenes she shows undying loyalty to Arya's character and also the way she deceives Vijay Sethupathi's character with love.

The much trolled Premgi shows in his brother's 'Mass' that he can act and as Jetli a character with many shades he brings out laughter and also manages to garner sympathy for his role as the reluctant ghost.
