It's known that, earlier on Saturday, Nandamuri Balakrishna made it to the headlines by slapping a TDP activist during his visit to a house in Hindupur, a constituency represented by the actor-politician in the Assembly. Balayya reportedly lost his cool when the activist began shooting him with a camera. In a video that has gone viral, the 'Legend' actor and Hindupur MLA can be seen getting aggressive and slapping the poor activist.

In an amusing turn of events, the victim has released a statement saying that he is proud that Balayya touched him! "I am a die-hard fan of our Balayya Babu, who has been campaigning for the party tirelessly from morning to evening ahead of the local body polls. As part of the campaign, Balayya Babu today visited our house. When he saw me filming him, he pushed me around thinking that I am not related to the family. We NBK fans are not offended by such small things," the TDP activist is heard saying in a video statement.

The guy added that he feels lucky that Balayya touched him when he is not even shaking hands with leaders.
