Sri Venkat and Bhavya Sri are playing the lead roles in a film titled 'Sathee Thimmamamba', directed by Balagonda Anjaneyulu. Peddarasu Subramanyam is the producer. The audio launch event of this film was held on Thursday. Balakrishna graced the event as chief guest and launched the audio. AP ministers Palle Raghunadha Reddy and Paritala Sunitha also attended the event.

Balakrishna said, "There are many historical places lie Bukkapatnam, Kadiri etc in Ananthapur. There is Thimmamamba Marrimanu (Banyam tree) in nearly 7 acres and it even entered the Guinness Book of world records. It is really commendable to make a film based on that history. I like Telugu language and culture. We have a great history. But now a days, people are forgetting our history and there is influence of other languages on them. I am really happy that this film, which tells about our Telugu history, is going to release these days. Sathee Thimmamba is a family member of Sri Krishnadevaraya. This film is based on her life. Bandaru Danayya gave good music. I hope this film will be a big success".

Director said, "After writing this story, I watched 'Bhairavadweepam' and learnt how the artists should perform and how the costumes should be. Though our film is not great as that film, I am confident that audiences will love it. I wrote a story named 'Shiva Raavana Yuddham' for Balakrishna. I hope I will get a chance to do that film with him"
