Balakrishna Issues Public Warning Over Unauthorized Fundraising Event in Basavatarakam’s Name

Senior actor and Hindupur MLA Nandamuri Balakrishna has issued a strong public statement cautioning people against a fraudulent fundraising program being circulated in the name of Basavatarakam Indo American Cancer Hospital & Research Institute.

In a post shared on social media, Balakrishna clarified that a program titled “Bangaru Balayya – Basavatarakam Event”, reportedly initiated by Mr. Ashwin Atluri, is being falsely promoted as a fundraising event for the hospital.

Condemning the misuse of the hospital’s name, Balakrishna stated, “This event has neither my approval nor the sanction of the Hospital’s Trust Board. I urge the public to remain vigilant and not fall prey to unauthorized or misleading fundraising campaigns.”

He further stressed that all official activities and appeals from Basavatarakam Cancer Hospital are only communicated through verified and transparent channels.

Balakrishna, who serves as the Chairman of Basavatarakam Indo American Cancer Hospital & Research Institute, appealed to the public to ignore such unauthorized campaigns and support the hospital only through legitimate avenues.
