Arjun Reddy heroine’s first choice is Sai Pallavi!

Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga was the chief guest at the Thandel pre-release event which took place in Hyderabad yesterday. The director made a stunning revelation during the event about his debut film Arjun Reddy. During his search for a heroine, he had initially considered Sai Pallavi for the role.

However, a man who falsely claimed to be her coordinator from Kerala contacted him and, upon hearing about the film’s romantic aspects, bluntly stated that she wouldn’t even wear sleeveless dresses, let alone take on such a bold role.  

Unaware that this person was not actually her manager, Vanga abandoned the idea and eventually cast Shalini Pandey, who went on to deliver a remarkable performance. The irony of the situation, however, is that Sai Pallavi herself did not know about this incident until now.

When she took the stage, she responded graciously, affirming that she never had a manager handling such decisions on her behalf. She expressed her admiration for Arjun Reddy and praised the performances of Vijay Deverakonda and Shalini Pandey.
