Actor Arjun Das, who is fast rising as a star in Tamil cinema, will be making his debut in Hindi cinema with a film that is an adaptation of the superhit Malayalam film, ‘Angamalay Diaries’.He thanked two bigshots from the Kollywood film industry without whom his Bollywood debut would not have happened.
Talking about it he said "Firstly, a big thank you to Lokesh Sir & Vijay Sir. I've said this before and I'm saying it again - I am forever grateful to both of you. I'm sure most of you are wondering why I'm thanking the both of them. The truth is, if not for Master I'm not sure I would have lander this role. So, thank you once again Lokesh Sir, Vijay Sir & the entire team of Master. The day I signed this project, the only people I shared the news with were my parents, Vijay Sir, Lokesh Sir and Vigna Sir... and rightly so."
For the unversed, the Hindi remake will be directed by Madhumita Sundararaman, who shot to fame with the Tamil film Karuppudurai. This will be Madhumita's Bollywood debut as well. Angamaly Diaries was a memory piece written by Chemban Vinod Jose and chronicles the formative years of a group of young boys, who share a common characteristic of ill-temperament.
