AR Rahman’s sister’s sensational comments against lyricist

AR Rahman’s sister, AR Rehaina, reacting to the Me Too issue has lauded singer Chinmayi’s efforts to expose sexual predators.  She has made the shocking revelation that a few other female singers too had complained to her about the veteran Kollywood lyricist Varaimuthu’s sexual advances.  She is of the opinion that being an iconic Tamil scholar and poet, Vairamuthu should not have indulged in such things.

At the same time, Rehaina has also stated that there are many others who are doing sexual injustices to women at workplaces and they should be outed and punished.  It is a known fact that Rahman and Vairamuthu are longtime friends and collaborators.

The noose is tightening against the lyricist, who is in the dock already.
