AR Rahman's daughter Khatija Rahman on January 2 announced her engagement to Riyasdeen Shaik Mohamed. She took to Instagram to share the happy news and also introduced her fiance to the world. Now interesting news about AR Raman's future Son in law has surfaced on the internet.
Khatija, got engaged to audio engineer Riyasdeen Shaik Mohamed on December 29. The ceremony took place in Chennai on her birthday in the presence of close family members and friends. She wrote, Ar“With the blessings of the Almighty I’m happy to announce to you all my engagement with Riyasdeen Shaik Mohamed @riyasdeenriyan, an aspiring entrepreneur and a wizkid audio engineer,”
Shaik Mohamed, who is a live sound engineer at AR Rahman’s studio, shared the photo collage on Instagram and wrote, “With the blessings of the Almighty I’m happy to announce to you all my engagement with Khatija Rahman, @khatija.rahman musician, producer & philanthropist.” The interesting news is that he has also worked as a sound engineer in AR Rahman's Bollywood film 'Tamasha'.
On the other hand, Rahman is married to Saira Banu. The couple has two daughters, Khatija and Rahima, and a son, Ameen. Last year, Khatija sang a song, “Rock A Bye Baby", in the Hindi film “Mimi", starring Kriti Sanon. The song was composed by her father. She reportedly made her singing debut at 14, singing "Puthiya Manidha" in the film "Enthiran” with musical legend SP Balasubramanyam.
