Apple Event 2022 Highlights – IPhone 14 with a new bionic Chip, new AirPods powered by H2 Chip and also unveils many features for Apple Watches

Apple hosted its biggest event of the year on September 7. The company unveiled four new models under the iPhone 14 series- iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max.They also unveiled Apple Watch Series 8, Apple Watch Ultra and next-generation AirPods Pro at the event.

The company has launched iPhone 14 series at the event, The former two comes powered by the last year’s A15 bionic chipset, while the Pro models run on the latest A16 Bionic chipset. All four new iPhones will run iOS 16 out of the box.

The New Design on the 14 pro max is referred to as “Dynamic Island” by Apple, this design is not available in the 14 and 14 Plus models.There’s a massive upgrade where Apple adds more megapixels to its camera, The 14 Pro max comes with a 48-Megapixel camera and also claims that it has a 65% bigger sensor than the 13 Pro max model. The Pre-orders for the 14 series start from September 9th and will be going on sale on 16th September. There has been not a much of price hiking in the new 14 series when compared to the 13 series.

Apple says it shows you where in the sky to point your phone so that you can access a satellite. The SOS feature launches in November and will be free for the first 2 years. Comes first to US and Canada.

Apple Watch 8: Big changes include a new temperature sensor, geared toward helping women with reproductive planning, and a low-power mode that doubles the battery life.

Apple Watch SE (2022): The latest Apple Watch SE gets the crash detection and low-battery mode features found in the Apple Watch 8; there’s also a massive price drop in this model.

Apple Watch Ultra: From a 49mm size to twice the baseline battery life. Apple is promising more precise GPS tracking. The price of the watch is comparatively less than what was rumoured before.

AirPods Pro 2: The wireless earbuds get a new H2 chip along with a low-distortion audio driver and custom amplifier for improved sound. You’ll be able to use the front camera on your iPhone to create a customized spatial audio profile, while other features like active noise cancellation have been improved. Battery life is now 6 hours of playback.
