In recent times, the trend in Tollywood and Kannada film industries has been to release their most expected and big budget films simultaneously in their respective languages besides dubbing them in Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi as well. This trend was extremely fruitful for SS Rajamouli's massive blockbuster movie Baahubali.
Following this, last year Christmas saw the release of Kannada flick KGF starring Yash and Srinidhi Shetty, which got released in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Malayalam as well, and became a massive hit, and following the success, KGF 2 is being made. Recently, Sudeep starrer Pailwan was also announced as a simultaneous release in all south Indian languages and Hindi.
Now it has been announced that an upcoming Kannada biggie named Avane Srimannarayana, starring Rakshit Shetty and Shanvi Srivastava and directed by Sachin Ravi will be released in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Malayalam this August. Rakshit Shetty is known for his movies like Kirik Party which was Rashmika Mandanna's debut as a heroine.
