Along with Thalapathy Vijay and Thala Ajith, Suriya is one of the most celebrated actors by fans. His latest outing in Thaana Serndha Koottam` with director Vignesh Shivn is considered to be the year`s very first superhit film.

However, two anchors belonging to a private television channel seem to have invoked the wrath of Suriya fans. The two female anchors Nivedhita and Sangeetha have poked fun at the mass actor`s height comparing him to Bollywood`s Amitabh Bachchan. This they did when talking about the possible film in which Suriya might act with Amitabh Bachchan under the direction of K.V.Anand.

While TSK has a dialogue reference which comes off as a fitting reply to those who mock Suriya`s height, netizens are on war footing to point out the bland sensitivity that the anchors have exhibited in support of their favourite star.
