Anasuya Bharadwaj clears air on Silk Smitha biopic

Recently, there arose the rumor that Anasuya Bharadwaj would be playing Silk Smitha in the latter’s biopic. The ‘Kshanam’ actress has refuted the rumor, saying that she is not doing any biopic.

“I am NOT playing #SilkSmita garu in any biopic. Thank you,” the actress wrote on Twitter.

Anasuya had happened to tweet a picture of herself juxtaposing with an image of Smitha. This post was thought to be a cryptic allusion to the biopic.

The ‘Jabardasth’ host is currently doing a thriller titled ‘Thank You Brother’. Starring also Ashwin Viraj, it has comedians Viva Harsha, Kadambari Kiran, Archana Ananth, Anish Kuruvilla and others as part of the cast. Its title poster was unveiled recently.
