Haiku Trailer: A Feel-Good Rom-Com with Youthful Fun and an Emotional Core

Feel-good romantic comedies continue to strike a chord with audiences, and the upcoming film Haiku looks set to join the list with its refreshing blend of youthful humour, romance and emotions. Starring Aegan, Sridevi and Femina George in the lead roles, the film is written and directed by Yuvaraj Chinnaswamy and produced by Dr. D. Arulanandhu and Mathewo Arulanandhu under the Vision Cinema House banner.

The film is scheduled to hit theatres worldwide on October 23, and the makers have now unveiled the theatrical trailer, which is already receiving a warm response from movie lovers.

The 145-second trailer introduces a vibrant college backdrop, picturesque locations and a youthful love story at its centre. The film revolves around Mano, the only boy in a women’s college, setting the stage for a series of hilarious situations, unexpected encounters and emotional moments.

The trailer offers glimpses of the chemistry between the lead characters while establishing the fun-filled world of the film. Beneath the comedy and romance, however, appears to be a meaningful emotional thread that gives the story more depth.

Sridevi, who impressed audiences with her performance in Court: State Vs Nobody, stands out with her natural screen presence. Femina George brings charm and elegance to her character, while Aegan adds energy to the youthful proceedings. Their interactions and chemistry appear to be among the major attractions of the film.

Speaking about Haiku, actor Aegan said that while the film is primarily a feel-good romantic comedy, it also carries a deeper message about respecting women and understanding their individuality. He stressed that the film does not intend to preach, but instead presents its message naturally within an entertaining story.

The film features an ensemble cast including Adirchi Arun, Subramaniya Sethu, Adhiyaman, Mime Gopi and Indhumathi Manigandan, among others.

Music composer Siddhu Kumar is expected to be one of the film’s highlights. Hariharan Ram has contributed additional screenplay, while Priyesh Gurusamy handles the cinematography and Sakthi Praneesh P takes care of the editing. Prem Karunthamalai is responsible for the art direction.

With its youthful setting, romantic storyline, comedy and underlying emotional message, Haiku appears to be aiming for a wholesome theatrical experience. The film is set to release worldwide on October 23, with B. Sakthivelan of Sakthi Film Factory presenting the Tamil Nadu release.

The trailer has certainly created curiosity, and audiences will now be looking forward to seeing whether Haiku delivers the feel-good romantic experience it promises on the big screen.
