Allari Naresh’s ‘Naandhi’ finalizes release date

Allari Naresh’s dark social drama ‘Naandhi’ has locked its release date. The film will hit the screens on February 19. The announcement comes days after Nithiin’s ‘Check’ got postponed to February 26.

Naresh, who played a serious role in ‘Maharshi’, needs a hit after the failure of ‘Bangaru Bullodu’ in January. “February 19th will mark a new beginning for me. #Naandhi will see you in theatres!” Naresh wrote on Twitter, confirming the release date of his 57th movie. 

Directed by Vijay Kanakameda, the film has Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, who received applause for her performance in Ravi Teja’s ‘Krack’ last month, in a key role. Comedian Priyadarshi and Harish Uthaman are part of the cast. 

Praveen, Navami, Srikanth Aiyyengar, Vinay Varma, Devi Prasad and Pramodhini have different roles in this Satish Vegesna production. Music is by Sri Charan Pakala. 

Vishal’s ‘Chakra’ will also release on February 19.
