Alia Bhatt finally breaks silence over being trolled for getting pregnant too early

Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt faced a lot of trolls and judgements online after announcing her pregnancy two months into her marriage with actor Ranbir Kapoor. The actress reacted to the criticism during the promotions of her upcoming Netflix film Darlings.

In response to a question about how she felt about the judgmental remarks that came her way, Alia said that she does not want to pay attention to nonsensical things. “Everything a woman does is put in the headlines. Whether she has decided to become a mother, she is dating somebody new; she is going to a cricket match or on holiday. For some reason, the eyeballs are always on women’s choices,” she reportedly said.

The actress further added that she knows how to balance both her professional as well as her personal life. Alia Bhatt announced her pregnancy with husband Ranbir Kapoor late last month via a social media post alongside a picture of herself getting a sonography. The couple tied the knot in a private ceremony at Ranbir’s Pali Hill residence Vastu in April this year.
