There is no stopping Akshay Kumar. The versatile Bollywood actor, who often does movies like ‘Mission Mangal’ that have great resonance with the audience, has signed up to do a historical epic on the warrior-king Prithviraj Chauhan.
“Elated to share about my first historical film on my birthday! Humbled to have the opportunity to play a hero I look up to for his valor and values- Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan in one of my biggest films,” the actor said.
Titled ‘Prithviraj’, it will be produced by Yash Raj Films and directed by Chandraprakash Dwivedi.
Details about the rest of the cast and crew are yet to be announced. The ambitious movie will hit the screens for Diwali 2020.
