Akhil Akkineni’s ‘Lenin’ Teaser Unveiled; Romantic Rural Drama Set for June 26 Release

Akhil Akkineni surprised fans on Friday by suddenly unveiling the teaser of his upcoming film Lenin. The teaser release holds emotional significance for the Akkineni family, as May 23 marks the release anniversary of Akkineni Nageswara Rao’s final film Manam.

Titled “Lenin – Manodu Vasthunnaadu,” the teaser offers a glimpse into a romantic rural entertainer packed with emotional moments and action elements. The video primarily focuses on the love story between Akhil and leading lady Bhagyashri Borse, highlighting their playful conversations and charming chemistry throughout.

Set against a rustic village backdrop, the teaser presents Akhil in a refreshing makeover as a Rayalaseema youngster, while Bhagyashri appears equally impressive as the village belle. Their Rayalaseema dialect and natural screen presence have already started drawing positive attention from audiences.

Towards the end, the teaser shifts gears and hints at intense action sequences, suggesting that the film will blend romance, drama, and mass moments. Actors Shivaji and Saranya Pradeep are playing important roles in the film.

Music for the project is composed by S. Thaman, while the film is jointly produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi and Nagarjuna Akkineni under the banners of Sithara Entertainments and Annapurna Studios.

The makers have officially confirmed that Lenin will hit theatres worldwide on June 26.
