While fans are eagerly waiting for the release of Ajith's Nerkonda Paarvai on August 8 across the world, the premiere show of the film started at 9 am IST in Singapore and the movie's producer, Boney Kapoor, is overwhelmed.

The producer's late wife Sridevi Kapoor had expressed her desire of getting Ajith to star in a Tamil film produced by Boney Kapoor. As he has finally managed to fulfill her dream, he is quite emotional and grateful to Ajith and the movie's director, H. Vinoth, for making this happen. "I am truly blessed 9am IST today Premiere Show of @nerkondapaarvai will start in Singapore. I have managed to fullfil my wife Sridevi Kapoor’s dream It couldn’t have been possible without the support of #AjithKumar #HVinoth, entire cast & technicians. I shall always cherish this," Boney Kapoor tweet read.

Co-produced by Zee Studios, Nerkonda Paarvai marks the maiden productional venture of Boney Kapoor in Tamil. The film also stars Shraddha Srinath, Abhirami Venkatachalam, and Andrea Tariang, and has Vidya Balan, Adhik Ravichandran and Rangaraj Pandey playing pivotal roles. The music is composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
