With the blockbuster success of Thalapathy Vijay’s 'GOAT', Tamil cinema fans are buzzing with excitement for the next big releases from their favorite stars. Leading the pack, Superstar Rajinikanth’s 'Vettaiyan' is slated to hit screens on October 10, while Suriya’s 'Kanguva' is aiming for a grand release on November 14. However, what’s causing the most stir is the possibility of a massive box office clash between Ajith Kumar and Kamal Haasan in early 2025!

Initially, Ajith’s 'Vidaamuyarchi' was scheduled for a Diwali release, and Kamal Haasan’s 'Thug Life' was planned for Christmas. But the latest reports suggest that both films are shifting to Pongal 2025 due to pending work. If all goes according to plan, fans may witness an epic showdown at the box office during the Pongal festival. Interestingly, Ajith’s 'Good Bad Ugly' was earlier set for a Pongal release, but it might now be moved to Summer 2025.

'Vidaamuyarchi', directed by Magizh Thirumeni, is a road action thriller featuring Ajith Kumar, Trisha, Arjun, Aarav, and Regina Cassandra, with music by Anirudh.
