The Coronavirus scare grows and grows day after day. Earlier this week, Kerala announced that all theatres will be shut down in the State until March 31. Delhi took a similar decision.

Two more States have joined the list of governments that are imposing heavy restrictions in view of public safety. Karnataka today mandated the shut down of cinema halls and other public places for a week. Th order comes into effect tomorrow. Pubs and other public places in Bengaluru and other cities will also have to follow the orders.

Bihar, too, has imposed a similar shutdown of its public places. All schools, colleges and institutions too have to follow suit.

Nellore administration in Andhra Pradesh has closed down all theatres after a man tested positive for COVID-19.

Two big films have been postponed in India this week. Akshay Kumar's 'Sooryavanshi', which was supposed to release on March 24, stands deferred. So also a Mohanlal movie.
