After ‘Bangarraju’, Kalyan Krishna joins hands with Studio Green

Before the theatrical release of ‘Bangarraju’, director Kalyan Krishna Kurasala said that his next movie is going to be with Kollywood producer KE Gnanavel Raja of Studio Green. Two days after the release of the fantasy-comedy, the banner has made the project official without revealing the details of the cast and crew.

“We are happy to announce that we have collaborated with the Telugu-language Sankranti BLOCKBUSTER ‘Bangarraju’ director Kalyan Krishna for his next big venture,” the banner tweed out on Sunday. The ‘Soggade Chinni Nayana’ and ‘Nela Ticket’ maker has known Gnanavel Raja for many years. Their collaboration was a long time coming.

It has to be seen who is going to be the hero of the project. In his recent interview, Kalyan Krishna said that who is the hero of the film will determine whether it will be made only in one language (either Telugu or Tamil) or in both languages.

The director has previously also made ‘Rarandoi Veduka Chuddham’. He is known for typical commercial entertainers that are high on comedy. Akkineni Nagarjuna, Naga Chaitanya, and Krithi Shetty have featured in his latest film. Produced by Annapurna Studios and Zee Studios, the film has music by Anup Rubens.
