Actress Yashika Aannand who gained limelight through the 'Bigg Boss 3' reality show hosted by Kamal Haasan became busy with film projects. Unfortunately a few weeks back when she was driving her car from a party on July 24th at midnight she lost control and crashed her car into the median. The gruesome accident killed her best friend Valisetty Pavani.

Yashika was treated in the hospital for multiple fractures and according to medical opinion will take several months to return to normalcy. The 22 year old is now recuperating at home and from time to time shares her status on social media.

Yashika's latest photo post shows that both her legs are still under casts and she has to relieve herself through a tube. But she does look far better than before and has shared that her pet dog who is also lying on her bed is giving her the strength.

Yashika's new movie 'Kadamaiayai Sei' costarring S.J. Suryah is complete and is expected to release soon. She is said to be playing a meaty role in it and her acting talent has wowed the film crew.
