Late actress Soundarya, was one of the most sought after in the South during the 90s. She starred in several blockbusters opposite all the leading heroes such as Rajinikanth’s ‘Arunachalam’ and ‘Padayappa’, Kamal Haasan’s ‘Kadhala Kadhala’, Karthik’s ‘Ponnumani’ and ‘Muthukaalai’, Vijayakanth’s ‘Thavasi’ and ‘Sokkathangam’.
Unfortunately in 2004 at the peak of her career Soundarya passed away when the helicopter she was travelling for an election campaign crashed near Bangalore. She was just 31 at the time.
A young girl named Chitra who has an uncanny resemblance to Soundarya is making waves on Instagram. She is paying tributes to the late actress by recreating her famous scenes and songs in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam languages. She is so perfect in impersonating the much loved actress’s expressions and body language that fans have started addressing her as Junior Soundarya and are demanding t more videos from her.
