Actress Preetha is a household name after appearing in several super hit TV serials in Tamil and also showing her dancing skills in both 'Jodi Number One' and 'Maanaada Mayilada'. Her husband Raghav is also a multifaceted personality who has acted in TV serials and movies and is a composer, presenter and director of repute.

Preetha has recently posted a highly emotional video on her Instagram page. In it she says with tears that her mother had fallen down accidentally resulting in a stroke and she is not able to speak.

Preetha wrote "Hi my insta family. I know I have been missing in action for quite sometime now. It's because my mother has been unwell and I have been in and out of hospitals the last many months. I request all those people who see this post to pray for my mother's good health. Raaghav me and Dhanissha will be grateful."
