Despite appearing in a limited number of films, actress Poonam Bajwa has won the hearts of a legion of netizens in Kollywood. She started her career as a model, made her acting debut in a Telugu film and went on to star in successful Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada titles too.

In the Tamil film industry, Poonam Bajwa debuted in Tamil in 2008 with the Hari-directed masala film ‘Seval’ and subsequently starred in ‘Thenavattu’ and ‘Kacheri Arambam’, both co-starring Jiiva. She acted in well-known movies like ‘Drohi’, ‘Thambikottai’, ‘Muthina Kathirikai’, ‘Aranmanai 2’ and ‘Romeo Juliet’.
