Pa. Ranjith's magnum opus 'Thangalaan' is in its final leg of shooting after a delay of a month and a half due to hero Chiyaan Vikram suffering rib fracture during rehearsals. Now we have the hot update that actress Parvathy Thiruvothu one of the leading ladies has wrapped up her portions.
Parvathy shared a monochrome pic of her character in the film without revealing her full face. She penned the emotional note "A dear friend sent me this quote recently and I couldn’t have found a more apt statement that correlates to my experience working in #thangalaan. ‘Rather than love, than money, than fame, give me truth.’ #thoreau"
The award winning actress added "Everywhere I went, every turn I took, every choice I made for the character I played in this film had my walls and masks crumble to dust until only the truth remained. This one has been an insanely crucial homecoming."
'Thangalaan' set in the late nineteenth century KGF and covering a hundred year history is produced by Studio Green with music score by G.V. Prakash Kumar. Chiyaan Vikram, Parvathy Thiruvothu, Pasupathy, Malavika Mohanan and Daniel Caltagirone are the principal cast members. The film go into postproduction in a couple of weeks time and the release date is expected to be announced soon.
