Meena’s old post on her wedding anniversary goes viral after husband’s death

Meena Sagar’s husband Vidyasagar passed away on June 28 at a private hospital in Chennai. After his tragic demise, an old photo which Meena posted on their wedding anniversary is currently going viral on social media platforms.

The photo was taken during their wedding reception and Meena was seen wearing a pastel lehenga and added beauty to the picture with her gorgeous smile. She captioned the photo, “You came into my life like a Rainbow and made it beautifully colorful ???? Together, is a wonderful and my favorite place to be ??‍❤️‍?? Wearing the smile you gave me, forever ?? Happy Anniversary Husband ❤️❤️” As her anniversary falls in July this photo is currently going viral on social media platforms.

Recently rumours were afloat that Sagar died of Covid -19. Meena rubbished the rumours and shared a note on her instagram page that reads, “I am deeply saddened by the loss of my loving husband Vidya Sagar. I sincerely request all media to respect our privacy and sympathise this situation. Please stop further broadcast of any false information on this matter. During these difficult times, I want to express my gratitude to all those good hearts who helped and stood with our family. I would like to thank all the Medical Team who tried their best, our Chief Minister, Health Minister, Radhakrishnan IAS, Colleagues, Friends, Family, Media & My loving fans for sending love and prayers. Thank You, Meena Sagar (sic).”

She tied the knot with Vidyasagar in a traditional ceremony in 2009. The couple has a daughter Nainika who made her acting debut at the age of 5 in the film Theri. Sagar died at he age of 48 and was cremated on June 29 in Besant Nagar, Chennai
