Actress Meena reigned as the number one heroine in all South Indian languages during the 90s. She has romanced all the superstars of the era including Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan, Mammootty, Mohan Lal, Chiranjeevi, Vishnuvardhan, Karthik, Prabhu, Sathyaraj, Vijayakanth and Ajith.

The ever smiling beauty is still going strong have starred as the leading lady in the 'Drishyam' series in Malayalam and Telugu and will soon start shooting for the third part with Mohan Lal.

Recently Meena's husband Vidyasagar passed away due to a serious lung condition and she has been avoiding public and private events. On Saturday popular dance choreographer Kala Master celebrated her 18th wedding anniversary with her husband Sasikumar. Being a close buddy of Meena she sent an invite but the actress stated that she was not in town.

Kala however got a pleasant surprise as her dear chum suddenly appeared before her. She shared emotional pics and wrote "Yesterday Meena Lied to me saying she is not in town and i was upset that she couldn’t be with me on our special day but all of a sudden she came and surprised me.Love you Meena"
