Actress Laila is evergreen in the minds of Tamil audiences due to the bubbly roles she played opposite Ajith in 'Dheena', Suriya in 'Pitha Magan' , Vikram in 'Dhill' and Prashanth in 'Paarthen Rasithen' among others.

Laila who got married to Iranian businessman Mehdin in 2006 took time off from films to raise her two sons. Now after 16 years she is back in Tamil films having signed Karthi's 'Sardar' in which she is playing a very important role.

Laila has shared a fun video of meeting her 'Parthen Rasithen' costar Prashanth in which both are seen shaking a leg for their song from the film. The duo's film was released 22 years back in 2000 and became a blockbuster hit.

Prashanth meanwhile is gearing up to release his new movie 'Andhagan' directed by Thiagarajan in which Priya Anand, Simran, Yogi Babu, Vanitha Vijayakumar, Samuthirakani and Navarasa Nayagan Karthik costar.
