Keerthi Pandian the daughter of veteran actor-producer Arun Pandian is a trained actress and is keen on choosing challenging roles. She impressed critics and audiences with her last release 'Anbirkiniyal' directed by Gokul in which she played a young girl trapped inside a freezer.

The powerful title of Keerthi's next movie is 'Kannagi' and the shocking first look poster shows her as pregnant and a man is lighting a fuse as if to bomb her belly. The image has gotten the thumbs up with netizens and also signals that the film is going to deal with a relevant social cause.

'Kannagi' is directed by Shalini and has music by Shaan Rahman, cinematography by Ramji, editing by Sarath and produced by Skymoon Entertainment and E5 Entertainment. The cast comprises of Keerthi Pandian, Ammu Abhirami, Vidya Pradeep, Adeshwar and Vettri.
