Actress Amala Paul has acted in a number of memorable films in all the South Indian languages. In recent times she has experimented with bold roles in 'Aadai' in which she went completely dressless for her character and played negative role in 'Pitta Kathalu' as well.
In 2018, Amala Paul committed to do a show in Malaysia and rehearsed for her dance steps at a dance studio in T. Nagar, Chennai. The talented actress then made the shocking complaint to the all women's police station in the area that one Alagesan approached her at the studio and asked her for sexual favors on behalf of a Malaysian businessman named Ibrahim.
A case was registered in the 17th Criminal Court in Saidapet against the dance studio owner Sridhar, Alageshan and businessmen Bhaskaran and Ibrahim. Sridhar and Bhaskar were also arrested in connection with the case and they sought interim ban on police interrogation which was given to them.
On Thursday the case came for hearing once again and the two men prayed to be released from the case and the FIR cancelled. The judge who presided over the court refused the pettion of the accused and adjourned to a later date.
