'Bigg Boss Tamil 6' hosted by Kamal Haasan is all set to begin today (October 9th) at 6pm on Vijay TV with a grand curtain raiser event. The contestants entering the house on day one are Ayesha, Asal, Azeem, Dhanalakshmi, Dinesh, Janani, G.P. Muthu, Manikandan, Maheshwari, Kathiravan, Nivaashiyni, Queency, Robert, Rachitha, Shanthi, Sheriina, Shivin, Ram, Amudhavanan and Vikraman.

Manikandan who is an actor and the elder brother of top Tamil actress Aishwarya Rajesh is married to actress Sofia and has a son with her. Manikandan is very close to his younger sister who has shared adorable photos of their childhood and as grown ups.
